If you have an interest in changing human behaviour and a desire to help others improve their quality of life, then this interdisciplinary program is for you. Develop the in-demand skills of implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis to support individuals with developmental issues or disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, acquired brain injury, addiction or dementia. Students will learn about the applications of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, acceptance and mindfulness-based therapies and the impact these therapies can have on these populations. Equipped with the real-work experience gained through a 420-hour field placement, graduates go on to draw on this science and communication foundation to effectively collaborate with other health professionals, clients and their caregivers.

The National Mental Health Institute estimates that by the age of 40, one in two Canadians will have experienced mental illness. As the demand for mental health services continues to rise, the need for qualified practitioners is becoming more vital than ever. Through a comprehensive mix of theoretical, research and applied courses, students will apply their knowledge in a mandatory 14-week, 420-hour experiential work placement, bridging the transition from the classroom to real-world experience. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and concrete skills to successfully enter community mental health roles in areas such as case management, crisis counselling, mental health promotion, addictions counselling, housing and advocacy consultancy, peer support, and residential youth work.

The Honours Bachelor of Construction Management (HBCM) program provides students with the knowledge, skills and abilities they need to succeed in a career in the industrial, residential, institutional or commercial construction industries. Students in this program will: Acquire the knowledge and expertise necessary to fill roles in leadership and management positions in the construction industry. Advance their learning through a 14-week field placement, with an additional optional placement. Have the foundational knowledge to pursue additional certifications at graduation.

This three-year degree is the first of its kind offered in Ontario, designed to help future practitioners gain the requirements to apply to become licensed paralegals with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO), apply to law school, or transfer into an honours program as a pathway to graduate studies. Students will: Enhance their critical thinking skills and be prepared for diverse client advocacy. Build a strong cultural competency lens to support diverse populations such as immigrants, refugees, Indigenous peoples, women, and LGBTQ+ clients. Gain hands-on learning experience through a 14-week, 420-hour mandatory field placement.
