The Diploma of Engineering at SIBT prepares students for specialisations in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering, equipping them with practical and communication skills for entry-level technician roles. Graduates can also articulate into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering. The course includes 8 core units, covering topics like materials science, mathematics, physics, and electric circuits, and can be completed in two or three sessions.

The Diploma of Information Technology at SIBT equips students with skills in IT practices like programming, software design, computer networks, and data management. It covers core units such as professional communication, cybersecurity, and system design, with an elective in statistics or mathematics for computing. The diploma prepares graduates for entry-level IT roles and adapts to emerging technologies like AI and cyber security.

The Diploma of Communication and Creative Industries provides foundational skills in media, communication, cross-cultural communication, digital literacy, and creative storytelling. It includes six core units and two electives, with pathways to the second year of a Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, or Creative Industries, or entry-level roles in advertising, PR, media, and the creative sector.

The Diploma of Health is designed to produce graduates who can perform a range of roles and functions across the health care sector, including health promotion, health services administration and support, and community health roles. The Diploma of Health can be completed over two or three sessions. It comprises of core (mandatory) and elective units. Students will study eight units in total from the list below, which includes six core units and two elective units. The Diploma of Social Science offers students foundational knowledge in social structures, human behavior, cultural diversity, and social change. It includes core units and two electives in areas like criminology, psychology, and human services, providing a pathway to a Bachelor of Social Science or related disciplines. Students complete eight units in total, with the option to finish the program in two or three sessions.

The SIBT Foundation Program bridges the gap between high school and tertiary studies, preparing students for the SIBT Diploma Program. If you've completed Year 11 or equivalent and have an IELTS score of 5.5 (with 5 in each band), you're eligible for the two-semester Foundation Standard Program, leading to a direct pathway to a university degree.
