The University of Victoria (UVic), located in Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. UVic sits at the southern end of Vancouver Island, off Canada’s Pacific coast. It is 15 minutes away from the city’s downtown and a short distance from both Vancouver. It is one of the top Canada’s research universities.
It offers degree programs to more than 20,000 students, 3,446 of them graduate students, with research strengths in several areas, including ocean science, engineering, math, data science and computer science.
